Remembering Jim Sheehan




James J. Sheehan
(February 14, 1966 - May 4, 2008)


James J. Sheehan, of Athens age 42, died on May 4, 2008 at his home after
a long illness.

Born February 14, 1966 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was an Associate Professor at
Miami University and a Senior Fulbright Scholar. He obtained his
Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. from Ohio University, and taught at Ohio
University, University of North Dakota, Cleveland State University, and
Miami University.

Jim was a caring husband, a loving Dad, an inspiring leader, an excellent
teacher, and a good friend.

Surviving him are his wife, Olivia and his two boys, Ryan and Matthew. He
will be missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to the Ohio Council for
the Social Studies c/o Dan Langen, 5910 Grazig Ct., Mason, OH 45040.
